Partner with the City to add a rain garden near your home. Be a part of city beautification efforts and increased flood control efforts as we work to provide plants, construction and expertise for residents to successfully care for rain gardens located in public right-of-ways near their homes within the city.

What are the benefits of the program?

What are the requirements for eligibility?
The location must be in a city-owned right-of-way within the city limits, in an area that will collect stormwater during rainfall events. Call 864.1979 to determine if the right-of-way adjacent to your property is eligible based on program criteria. Gardens are planted as part of a good faith agreement and signed maintenance contract that all maintenance needs be met by the applicant/adjacent property owner.
